Bob Picardo was a cast member on Star Trek Voyager for 169 episodes [IMDb], he first came to the Stargate fold as the really nasty NID Federal Agent Richard Woolsey on the Stargate SG-1 episode Heroes Part 2.
Woolsey was ordered by Senator Kinsey (Ronny Cox) to investigate the death of the much loved SGC doctor, Janet Fraiser played by the stunningly beautiful Canadian actor Teryl Rothery. He was immediately hated by the staff at the SGC and loved worldwide by Stargate fans.
He went on to do seven or more SG-1 eps and an episode on Stargate Atlantis with Richard Dean Anderson and was made a permanant member of the team at Atlantis for the fifth and last season as the boss.
