Neilson's Ratings in the US report a massive 59% jump in the ratings for the second episode in the new series Fringe. 13.2 million viewers tuned in to The Same Old Story a mediocre but significant rise on last week's 9 million viewers.
The episode aired after the premiere episode of the fifth season of House MD and is seen as the catalyst for the jump in Fringe viewers holding 91% of the viewers at House. House itself was down 28% from last year's premiere episode.
"According to Fox, the Fringe spike is the largest ratings jump a new series has made from Week 1 to 2 on any broadcast network in more than a decade."
Fingers crossed for a spike/climb next week with the third episode Ghost Network. We here at Gasbo are not privvy to the AusTam ratings in Australia and hold it in contempt along with it's owners.
