The Sarah Jane Adventures, Season 3?

The Doctor Who spinoff series The Sarah Jane Adventures doesn't air on free tv or the national broadcaster in Australia but it is coming into the country via illegal downloads by the bucketful.

Fans of the series will be delighted to know that the lead caster in the fantasy show, Elisabeth Sladen, one time companion of The Doctor, when asked in an interview "Will there be a third series of the show?", responded, "They’re writing it now, I believe. I’m very proud of the show, it’ll be lovely to do another series. And it’d be really lovely for the children – not ‘the children’, I mean ‘my co-stars’! Danny [Daniel Anthony who plays Clyde] is 21 now and Anjli [Anjli Mohindra who plays Rani] is 18!

18 November 2008: The Brig is back! Actor Nicholas Courtney, who first appeared in Doctor Who in 1968, is returning as Brigadier Sir Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart in The Sarah Jane Adventures. DWM caught up with Nick and asked him about his latest call to action…

So, how does Lethbridge-Stewart pop up in Sarah Jane’s world again?


“Well, Sarah Jane needs some help, yes. She comes to see me… and when she tells me where she wants to go, my face falls. But we manage!” Nick laughs heartily. “We have a lovely moment. According to the producer, it works very well when Sarah comes into the room, and we’re meeting again. Lis has a line, ‘I’m going to see an old friend about this,’ and the next shot is her coming into my house...”

US Network Fox has released the synopses, images and a heaP of other goodies for upcoming Fringe episode The Equation due to air in the US on Tuesday 18 November 2008 at 2200hrs.

The series was axed by the Nine network and will probably get a guernsy in the Silly Season.

Briefly: "After a young music prodigy is taken by a serial kidnapper (guest star Gillian Jacobs), it’s discovered that a sequence of flashing lights appeared at the abduction, which Walter links back to his bunkmate at St. Claire’s Hospital. October 31, 2008 (Burbank, CA) - The CW’s Thursday combination of SMALLVILLE and SUPERNATURAL were on the rise last night, as both series climbed to deliver ratings that were at or near season highs, according to Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008

SMALLVILLE matched its season highs in adults 18-34 (1.8/6), men 18-34 (2.2/7), men 18-49 (2.1/6) and total viewers (4.3mil). SMALLVILLE improved over last week’s telecast by 6% in adults 18-34, 10% in men 18-34, 11% in men 18-49 and 4% in viewers.

SUPERNATURAL climbed to its best performance in adults 18-34 (1.4/4), adults 18-49 (1.5/4) and total viewers (3.6mil) since its season premiere (9/18/08). SUPERNATURAL grew week-to-week by 17% in adults 18-34, 45% in men 18-34, 15% in adults 18-49, 33% in men 18-49 and 9% in total viewers.

On the first night of the Nov. 2008 Sweep, The CW climbed to its best Thursday of the season in men 18-34 (1.9/6-tie) and second best in adults 18-34 (1.6/5), adults 18-49 (1.6/4) and total viewers (3.9mil).
