Joe Mallozzi Valè's Stargate Atlantis in his Blog

As we all know, about 5 weeks ago the US pay TV 'science fiction' channel SciFi Channel advised MGM, the producer and the fan that it didn't want to show the series on their channel anymore citing a number of reasons. Fandom went into (and still is in meltdown) things didn't get any better when the Stargate Universe (SGU) character breakdowns were released a couple of days back.

Team members for SGU sound suspiciously like Jack O'Neill's (RDA) SG-1 and John Sheppard's (Joe Flanigan) team on SGA and so the fan is asking: Why? Joe goes to a bit of trouble to give a why and in the process comments on the first five eps of the new series. *sticks up thumb*

All that aside, with the last of season 5's 20 eps inserted safely in the can yestarday, executive producer Mallozzi and the crew and cast at Bridge Studios in Vancouver has blogged a goodbye to the series. to read Joes entimentalities please go to his blog, there's some snazzy piccies too

SGA S5 First Contact

Ten hi-res images from the Stargate Atlantis episode 510 First Contact have been posted at The Happy Place Stargate Atlantis Season 5 Episodes Shed.

The images feature Michael Shanks as Dr Daniel Jackson, Joe Flanigan as LTCOL John Sheppard, Robert Picardo as Richard Woolsey, Rachel Luttrell as Teyla Emmagan, Daniella Alonso as Katana and David Nykl as Dr. Radek Zelenka.
