The first Grand Finalist playoff on tonights 2009 series of The Einstein Factor was a thriller, at the end of the game all three contestants were deadlocked on 1450 points.
Contestant and Subject:
Raymond Palermo: Specialty: Five Good Roman Emperors (96AD-180AD)
Gordon McGregor: Specialty: Diurnal Birds of Prey; and
Steven Farrell: Specialty: Life & Career of Marie Curie
So, five 'tie breaker' questions were asked, outcome, Gordon (1350 points) was ousted which led to a 'sudden death' playoff between Raymond (1550 points) and Steven (1550 points) of which Raymond emerged the winner.
