SGA: S513 Inquisition Behind the Scenes
Stargate franchise owner MGM has posted a behind the scenes look at the episode Inquisition.
Inquisition, written by Alex Levine, fulfilled a very important part of Stargate Atlantis’ final season. Besides exploring the social evolution of the various human populations in the Pegasus galaxy, it was also designed to be a lower-budget episode than normal. The producers were determined to make the second half of the show’s fifth season as big as possible – which meant creating a few shows that would cost less." Read more >>

NBC has released the second last batch of images from the final season of Stargate Atlantis episode Vegas
The ep, set in Los Vegas in the US a long way from Vancouver where the eps were made, the storyline goes, "When another body turns up in the desert outside of Las Vegas, Nevada, Detective John Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) is called in to investigate. Sheppard is a homicide detective, but the murderer he has to hunt down now is unlike anyone -- or any thing -- he has ever seen. Sheppard tries to dodge a news reporter when he arrives at the crime scene. The reporter suggests that, if this victim is like the others, the city may have a serial killer on its hands."

Chris Judge chats to Stargate Mag
23 October 2008: Christopher Judge played the part of Teal'c on the record breaking smash hit scifi series Stargate SG-1, MGM has posted an extract from an interview Mr Judge did with a Stargate magazine, the magazine started by asking the muscular actor, "Did you have fun promoting Stargate: Continuum, at the San Diego Comic-Con?
"Chris Judge: It’s always crazy down there. The fan enthusiasm and excitement level is wonderful. It’s just a great atmosphere there. We went down to the MGM booth to sign. I was actually a minute or two late and I was wondering who this huge line was for. I thought it was for Iron Man or something and it was actually for us. It’s still quite overwhelming.
"Is it like one big family reunion when you all get back together?
Oh definitely. I see Ben Browder all the time because our kids go to school together, and he teaches the little league my son plays in. I probably see Ben more than anyone. Michael Shanks and I get together whenever we are both in Vancouver at the same time. It’s great. We never lose touch. It didn’t end because the show ended."

Knight Rider gets a full season 2008/09
22 October 2008: UNIVERSAL CITY: 21 October 2008, NBC will pick up nine additional episodes of its the freshman drama series Knight Rider to provide the series with a full-season order for 2008-09, it was announced today by Ben Silverman, Co-Chairman, NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios.
"Gary Scott Thompson and the great cast and crew of Knight Rider continue to deliver fun, action packed adventures every week," said Silverman. "Kitt and Michael will continue to travel across the country on their fun, escapist ride pursuing bad guys and saving the day."
The Seven Network aired the pilot in Australia about three weeks ago and as yet there in no sign of the series getting under way.

Was Russell tempted to use Davros’ revival as a means to finally reinvent and clear up some of his complex backstory, once and for all?
“I never really worried about tying his history together, ”Russell admits, “except I was convinced he had to have a metal hand, because it was so clearly blown off in Revelation of the Daleks.
"So no, I didn’t do any research as such. I didn’t rewatch Genesis, because I wanted to act off my memories. Somehow, that seems a more creative state to be in.
"I did worry that we never had a proper explanation of his injuries, but then realised that Genesis never did that either, so it was good company to be in! Although I did write a sort of creation story”
“There was one scene where you were going to see an explosion, and Davros was injured,” recalls Neill.

Kara opens a portal for Lois to return but Zod's wife Faora escapes with her and takes over Lois' body. A possessed Lois goes on a rampage in Metropolis."

Wow, nine has axed Fringe
Wednesdays are now back to a barren wasteland after the nine Network extinguished the one bright light on a Wednesday evening, Criminal Minds, House and Spicks and Specks are of no interest and fail to excite.
Worse, the decision to put a new show into a mix where the fans of Criminal Minds, House and Spicks and Specks are immovable was deadset the dim-wittedest decision I've ever seen from a seemingly mob of intellegent people.
How I found out, I started researching the next Fringe ep on Nine, firstly I went to the Nine TV Guide here and then clicked on Fringe and got here then went over to the online TV guide and found this.
Good on ya nine, you've done it again, if the network expects the Fringe fan to watch it in the Silly Season, think again.

BBC's Crooked House conjures up a ghostly Christmas
Janice Hadlow, Controller, BBC Four, has commissioned Tiger Aspect Productions to produce Crooked House, a haunting tale of three sumptuous ghost stories woven together for a spooky Christmas treat.
Written by Mark Gatiss ([Wikipedia ] [The League Of Gentlemen]) and directed by Damon Thomas (Beethoven), the duo last collaborated on 2007's critically-acclaimed BBC Four drama The Worst Journey In The World.
Shot in HD, Crooked House boasts a wonderfully diverse cast which includes Julian Rhind-Tutt (Green Wing), Mark Gatiss, Philip Jackson (Margaret Thatcher: The Long Walk To Finchley), Lee Ingleby (George Gently), Jean Marsh (Sense And Sensibility), Samuel Barnett (Beautiful People), Daniela Denby-Ashe (My Family), Anna Madeley (Brideshead Revisited) and, in his debut dramatic role, illusionist Derren Brown as the mysterious Sir Roger Widdowson.
In addition to writing and co-producing the drama, Gatiss takes the role of a museum curator with an in-depth knowledge of the fictional Geap Manor, stretching through Tudor, Georgian, the Twenties and contemporary times.
When school teacher Ben unearths an old door knocker in the garden of his new home, the curator suggests it may come from the now-demolished house. A house reputed to be haunted...

A corrupt Georgian businessman finds something unexpected in the woodwork of his new home.
In the Twenties, a young couple's happy engagement party is spoiled by the spectre of a ghostly bride.

Popular Canadian actor Kavan Smith plays Major Evan Lorne on the almost now defunct MGM scifi series Stargate Atlantis. The handsome actor's origins on the Stargate franchise go back to 2003 when he popped up on the Stargate SG-1 episode Enemy Mine. He was never far away from the thoughts of the Stargate fan and eventually found his way onto Stargate Atlantis much to the delight of the fan.
MGM has posted a piece about Mr Smilth and how he got where he is today on the franchise, says MGM, "He has presented a solid, quiet and reassuring presence in Stargate Atlantis since the show’s second season. But what many viewers may not know is that Evan Lorne’s history with Stargate Command – and that of actor Kavan Smith – goes back far further than that. Way back, in fact, to before even Stargate SG-1 had hit the screen. Kavan Smith “Going way, way back, I was actually up for Michael Shanks’ role in the original series,” Smith explains, speaking, rather ironically, from a seat inside the disused Stargate SG-1 gateroom set. “So I knew some of the producers, and particularly Richard Dean Anderson’s partner Michael Greenburg. Supernatural S404 Metamorphosis
Synopsis: Sam and Dean discover that Jack Montgomery, a family man, is turning into a Rugaru, a creature that starts as a human but changes into a flesh-eating monster. The people who are infected don't understand what is happening until they turn into cannibals and eat another person. Understanding what it is like to be a victim of a twisted destiny, Sam believes he can reason with Jack and convince him to control his urges. Stargate Atlantis Set Demolished
In a brief report yesterday the Vancouver Sun said the Stargate Atlantis set at Bridge Studios in Vancouver Canada is being demolished. Bridge Studios was the home of the Stargate franchise scripted series' for most of it's run and of course still is with the upcoming Stargate Universe and the Stargate (SG-1) and Stargate Atlantis direct to DVD films.
From the Sun, "Bridge Studios general manager Ron Hryniuk -- say Her-nik -- isn't sorry to say goodbye to a show that produced some 100 episodes on six of his sound stages, as well as twice that number for the predecessor Stargate SG-1 series. That's because the SCI FI Channel and MGM Television recently announced the launch of a new "science fiction" series called Stargate Universe, saying "Its great news. Fantastic," Hryniuk said of a show that will premiere as a two-hour movie on SCI FI and become a weekly one-hour series next summer".
"In a press release Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis co-creators Brad Wright and Rob Cooper said Stargate Universe "will break new ground in relationships between mostly young and desperate explorers, thrust together and far from home."

Supernatural: 404 Monster Movie
Scant details are available for the 'back to the past' Supernatural episode Monster Movie, the ep is made honouring the thespians of the horror genre of the 1930's.

FOX has ordered an additional nine episodes of the critically acclaimed thriller FRINGE, bringing the series to a full season order, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company.

FRINGE has captivated audiences this fall, winning its Tuesday time period weekly among key demographics and ranking as the No. 1 new series in primetime among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. On Tuesday, Sept. 30, FRINGE dominated its time period by posting a 4.3/11 among Adults 18-49, which was an increase over the previous week’s airing by +5% (vs. 4.1/10), and growing +6% in Total Viewers (10.0 vs. 9.4 million).
On Tuesday, Oct. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), FRINGE returns with a high-voltage episode as the unlikely trio investigates the cause of a fatal elevator accident that had some very unusual circumstances. They discover a connection to a dangerous man whose developing abilities point to a bigger threat. Meanwhile, Olivia has a highly charged encounter of her own when she is rocked by someone from her past, and Dr. Bishop turns to a methodology Peter thinks is for the birds to help break the case.
